Say You Want a Resolutio-on...

I'm finished with making resolutions each year that are no fun at all. I've tried to exercise more, save more money, eat more healthfully, blah, blah, blah...

This year I'm going to make a change that is worth the effort! This year I resolve to spend every Friday possible making art in my studio.

That's right, today was the first Friday of the new year; and it was heavenly!

I encourage you to do something similar. Make a promise to yourself to do something especially for you. Do something weekly that fills you up. It is not a selfish thing. It is only when you are full that you have something to give.

I know I know
I want to send my photos to someone's studio. They will have stuff to sell and so will I.

If they won't buy my stuff, I wile tape a dollar to the back of them and we will charge six bits.

At least I can say I have sold my work in far away places.

The mess itself is a work of art, is it not?

I think your onto something. I once had a professor tell me find something that you love to do and do it passionately! I am taking 4 art classes this semester & I plan on REALLY taking it in & enjoying them! Have a Happy New Year!

My resolution: I refuse to let the dysfunctional people in my life cause my life to become dysfunctional. It's fitting for the circumstances at hand.
But yours is wonderful and definitely something I'm thinking about.
